Well this I think would be an eternal puzzle for me !! Well this is the question which I couldn't get past by whenever I think about resolving a problem/issue which involves me and the choice(journey/destination) . And then I stop it there itself and move to some other trail of thought chain..!! Thought this would be a good placeholder to keep a track of how and why do I get stuck on the very same question ,time and again . Well who knows there exists a generalized resolution by seeing some kinda pattern .!!! Quite a scientific , intuitive methodology ..huh... Well this is how the thought process works ,when all you have been bread and feed on is science.. !! The faith towards empirical approach of solution get stronger with every marching success of science. Well don't wanna change my line of thought towards ,the justifiability of science . (Damn its so easy to get swayed from one topic to another .:P ). But in here lies a point ;).. keep guessing..
Many a times I have experienced this feeling of getting so very engaged in my thought process ,that I just feel its worthwhile being in this state for long . Chuck what I was supposed to do and rather enjoy what I am currently doing (that is to be engaged in my thoughts..).. Well, and if I try to generalize the conflict , it reflects the title of this post..!!
Well the question can be addressed at two levels : Micro and Macro .
Firstly at micro Level:- Daily events which are bundled so very way that you have to make a choice journey/destination. For instance... if you were to go and meet a very close relative of yours and during your way to their home , you just happen to admire a very sweet girl alongside in a car , and you get stuck on her .You just want to have an eye-lock with her for as long time as possible . But then you realize your destination point is your relatives house..!! Take a choice , should I be instinctive ? Should I be responsible ? Should I take the risk . Damn I need a resolution over this .. For sure I can think of many improved examples , but I like to spend more time discussing the real conflict !!..Well I think had it been that all strings of safety and security removed , one would definitely like to move along the journey !! Its the fear of safety/security that most of the time is the motivating factor to make us more predictable , reliable and responsible i.e. increasing the probability of a person reaching his goals/destination.
So have a look around , the daily/quarterly goals you have in your company are met by controlling your safety bone !! Well I am not particularly in favor or against any choice , all I am doing is trying to hold a view point of a lame observer .
Secondly at the macro level the conflict can be addressed as the choice of life path . I just myself want to get cleared on this line of thought ,as all i know its hazy . But still is it all about going and shining as a bright star (destination viewpoint) in the world or is it about looking at life as it comes and one just focuses on his good deeds/moments (journey perspective). I have seen both perspective in the living beings around me and also in my own self. Someday hopefully should have better grounds to take sides ,but as of now I am just observing. ...
I don't know how much sense I made with this post but I think for myself I nailed some repetitive thoughts..!!

So, Mr. Ever Searching Eyes...do you realize that destination and journeys are also about keeping and maintaining friendship as opposed to leaving them behind so fast...don't you agree?
